lbtView End-of-Life - 2013 June 1
The manifest limitations of the Tcl/Tk implementation of the ESO
SkyCat plugin modules have long been an obstacle to making further
progress in the development of lbtView. Since we have made
significantly greater progress developing the Python- and ds9-based modsView and luciView programs, we phased out
lbtView starting 2013 June 1.
This program is no longer supported, and since it will not work
with the final binocular AGw configuration of MODS1 and MODS2, it should
no longer be used by anyone for any reason.
Current lbtView users are urged to delete lbtView and migrate to
modsView and lbtView for instrument configuration and guide-star selection
for MODS and LUCI observing preparation.
