modsTools - MODS Observing Script Preparation Tools
Version 1.3p1 - 2013 April 11 [incremental bug patch]

This directory contains the Perl source code for the modsTools
package.

These are standalone Perl scripts with no special modules or other
requirements.  The scripts require Perl 5.5 or later.

They have been tested and verified to run on these systems:
   - RedHat Linux 9
   - Fedora Core 3
   - CentOS Linux 5.2 and 6.3
   - Mac OS/X Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion

We only intend to support these scripts on Linux or Mac OS/X systems.

A scripting manual is available online at

This page also includes links to all of the example scripts in the
manual, and the latest versions of the modsTools package.

Please feel free to contact me with comments and suggestions for other
tools.  We're all still learning how to best use MODS, so LBT
community input is welcome.
