LBT OSU/RC Queue Observing: UTC 2009 January 29

Summary:

We operated with LBC-Blue only tonight because the right door was
stuck closed.  Photometric conditions at sunset.  Photometric at
sunrise.

Observed: M81, M82, HIJASS J1021+6842, EGSF1, NGC 5904


Detailed Notes:

UT 0020

Biases started.

UT0100

Right door was stuck closed because three bolts connecting the motor
to the gear that opens/closes the door were broken.  They staff worked
on fixing the problem for about 3 1/2 hours, but determined that could
not fix it until tomorrow.  So we are operating with just LBC-Blue.

UT 0430

M81 and M82 observations.  Seeing ~ 1.2''.

UT 0530

Standard star observations for UMhjass project in B and r.  Saturated
so we will take more during morning twilight.

UT 0545

HIJASS J1021+6842 observations. 4 OBs observed in B, 3 in r.  Seeing ~
0.9''.

UT 0930

EGSF1 observations.  2 OBs observed in position A and one in position
B. Seeing ~ 1''

UT 1300

NGC 5904 observations for standard stars.

UT 1315

sky flats in Us and B.  First 8 have too low of counts.
