OSU/RC Queue Observing UTC 2010 Dec 09 (civil date Dec 08/09, 2010) =============================================================================== Observers: Paul Martini (OSU), David Atlee (OSU), Chris Howk (ND), Terry Rettig (ND) Observing Assistant: Gino Bechetti Support Astronomer : Olga Kuhn Instrumentation : Doug Officer =========== Instrument: =========== LBC ========= Summary: ========= High cirrus at sunset. Seeing was moderate at beginning of the night (0.8"). We were briefly clouded out by an incoming weather front for approximately 20 minutes at starting at 2010. Image quality degenerated steadily after the clouds dissipated and became poor (1.5-2") by midnight. We attempted to switch to LUCIFER beginning at approximately 0130 to observe targets with looser seeing requirements, but ran into technical difficulties. The re-configuration finished by 0210 but the AGw failed when we attempted to send a telescope pre-set from the LUCIFER control panel. We lost a total of 4 hours due to this error.
