Details: 04:30 -- Begin preset to first pointing star 04:45 -- Begin acquisition on UM RMHstarsIRC_10420 04:51 -- Another acquisition with 1 sec exposure b/c target star is so bright it completely saturated Position on slit marked manually. 04:55 -- Begin UM RMHstarsIRC_10420 obs, 0.8 arcsec slit, blue grating only. Seeing is ~0.9 arcsec in g-filter, blue channel. 05:04 -- Begin acquisition on OSU_sdssqsos_sdss2102 Weird problem with IRAF during modsAlign. When hit "a" to find centroid of target, IRAF quit. We ran modsAlign again and hit "x" to manually determine the center of the target. 05:17 -- Begin OSU_sdssqsos_sdss2102 obs, 0.6 arcsec slit in red. Seeing is 0.7 arcsec in red. 05:50 -- Guide star lost due to stars. Pressed pause on the exposure, but the image read out after ~550 sec. 05:57 -- Begin another exposure, 1300 sec on qsos_sdss2102 Spectrum looks fine, similar to initial image prior to losing guide star. 06:22 -- Begin another 1300 sec exposure on qsos_sdss2102 06:31 - Band of clouds starting to move in. Guide star getting fainter. 06:39 - Clouds getting heavier, significant drop in signal of guide star (factor of 3), during the last ~200-300 sec of the exposure. Guide star lost at the very end of exposure. Telescope closed due to clouds. 09:39 -- Telescope opened. Pointing and collimating. Image severly aberrated. WFS taking a long time to converge -- ~25 min to converge. 10:06 -- Begin acquisition on UM_RMHstarsM33_HyperFW 10:15 -- Begin UM_RMHstarsM33_HyperFw obs, 0.6 arcsec slit, dual grating. Seeing is 0.5 arcsec in red. 10:26 -- Begin acquisition on OSU-sdssqsos_sdss0254 10:37 -- Begin OSU-sdssqsos_sdss0254 obs, 0.6 arcsec slit in blue. Seeing is <0.6 arcsec in blue. 11:07 -- Begin acquisition on OSU_sdssqsos_gd50, 0.6 arcsec slit in blue. 11:14 -- Begin OSU_sdssqsos_gd50 obs. Seeing is <0.6 arcsec in blue. 11:29 -- Begin preset to stone-e field and collimate 11:32 -- Begin stone-e field obs, 60 sec exp. Seeing is 0.5 arcsec in red. 11:34 -- Begin stone-e field obs, 30 sec exp 11:37 -- Series of images on stone-e field, in g and r filters, stepping in focus. 12:08 -- Execute calibration meta script which includes grating flats and imaging flats and bias frames.
