Observers: Scott Adams, Paul Martini, Roberta Humphreys Telescope Operator: Geno Bechetti Support Astronomer: Dave Thompson Instrument: LBC Summary: Plagued by clouds most of the night. Obtained data for N2403, N3489, N3627, N4826, although through some clouds. Tried M81 and N5194, but aborted due to clouds. Mostly cloudy UT0540 All of our targets are behind clouds taking a break to wait for clouds to clear up a little UT0650 Things are clearing up a little Running dofpia for N4826 UT0655 Running N4826 DIMM is 1.1" UT0720 we might be looking through some cirrus UT0733 Slewing to N4449... nope, blocked by clouds Downtime due to clouds UT0850 Trying a sucker hole, slewing to N5194 Nope, still too cloudy UT0920 dofpia started to look better UT0927 Running N5194 the DIMM is going in and out with clouds... UT0950 Last couple of images (lbcr.20130505.094457 & lbcr.20130505.094850) completed blanketed out by clouds -> pausing script I think the paused exposures ended up getting nixed. Resumed script ~UT1010 These images (the first ones after resuming the script) may be problematic & should be checked: lbcb.20130505.100633, lbcr.20130505.100623 UT1020-1050 slewed to a new target and canceled dofpia while it was running then LBC locked up and would not let us start a new OB even though we had clicked stop on the LBC GUI. Ended up needing to get Dave to login and restart LBC. UT1055 Too cloudy to take twilight flats Closing. UT1105 Morning calibrations: Biases: 25Bias_Bino
