Winds strong, near borderline for opening. 02:00 a.m. local time: clearing, so will open and see how things look. STARTING INSTRUMENT: LBC 09:30 UT: Opening. 09:45 UT: Initial attempt to focus. Seeing 1.6 - 2". 09:56 UT: OSU_Monitor/NGC 6503 Seeing ~2" This is mainly to check that the camera and communications are working. We do not consider these to be useful images and will not mark them as done. 10:22 UT: OSU_Monitor/NGC 6946 Seeing about 1.3 arcsec in red Red images poor collimation final 2 or 3 images have increasing sky backgrounds (finished observations ~25 min after start of astronomical twilight) 10.55 UT: Closing There is still cirrus scattered throughout the sky, so we will not do take twilight flats.
