Clear skies, light winds, quite a lot of smoke to the far west.

STARTING INSTRUMENT: LBC

02:45 UT:  Opening, and pointing to sky flat position.  

03:03 UT:  Starting twilight flats

03:26 UT:  OSU_Monitor NGC 4258
   03:47:  Completed initial alignment
           Seeing is very poor (1.4-2.0" variable).
           Will wait to see what the seeing trend is.
   04:08:  Nearly end of twilight.  Seeing slowly improving.
           Will start OB, and repeat tonight if seeing gets better.
   04:15:  Have commenced. Seeing continues to improve.  
           Most images will be below seeing specification.

04:52 UT:  OSU_Monitor NGC 4605
04:49:33:  Earthquake!  Was magnitude = 5.2 about halfway between
           here and Lordsburg, NM.
           Primary mirror panic.  Pointing to zenith to reset things.
   05:12:  Reacquiring target.
   05:23:  Now taking images.  Seeing about 1" in red.
   05:38:  Finished.  Smelling smoky out there, but no precipitation.

05:41 UT:  At OSU_Monitor NGC 5194
   05:48:  Starting OB.  Seeing about 1 arcsec red and blue.
   06:28:  Completed

06:31 UT:  At OSU_Monitor M101
   06:38:  Have begun the OB.
