Still some cirrus, shying away from the faintest of guide stars

seeing jumped after we started; took second exposure to ensure sufficient signal

during the second exposure there an increase in cirrus for by ~half a magnitude

UT 5:30 (10:30): seeing is not stable - has ranged from 1 to 1.7 within ~40 minutes.

good signal. Seeing still jumpy.

Used the -2 hour angle script due to a much better guide star position; in the -1 it was too close to the edge for optimal collimation

UT 8:37 (1:37) Starting obs script. Seeing around 1.3 at beginning. Hovered around 1.4 throughout, but with some spikes closer to 2.0.

UT 9:31 (2:31) Doing another exp due to high thin clouds (seeing 1.1)

Couldn’t find object from either the SDSS or the other finding chart.  moved on…

(found it while looking during next target. Neither the SDSS nor the modsView finding charts had enough resolution to match to the 1Kx1K CCD field of view and resolution)

UT 10:22 (3:22) Starting observations, seeing still variable around 1.5

We ran the observing script for J1309+0119 instead of that for J1219+0429. The name of the object in the header information is (at the moment) incorrect, and we also took twice the number of exposures because the exposure times were shorter than intended.

Seeing got pretty bad in the last few exposures - still averaging 1.5, but jumping all over

getting increasingly cloudy as well

UT 11:53 (4:53) Starting observation! Seeing hovering around 1.3ish.

UT 12:31 (5:31) Starting observation. Seeing average closer to 1.3, cirrus seems pretty clear.
