LBT OSU/RC Partner OBserving Notes Date: 2015 April 23 UTC Observers: OSURC - Croxall, Tie, Verbiscer Support Astronomer: Olga Kuhn (on-call) Telescope Operator: Geno B. SUMMARY: LBC for first half of night and LUCI second half. Seeing ok during LBC observations (~1") but got worse during LUCI observations (~1.5"). At the recommendation of Olga, we doubled the exposures for the LUCI observations, particularly as the seeing reached 1.6". We had a fair bit of difficulty finding the stars used in OSU_SDSSRMnirqso for slit alignment. PI may wish to increase the exposure, especially for 17th magnitude stars which were near invisible in the slit and had to be found using a smoothed ds9 image. Programs completed are: OSU_monitor: N4449, N4236 ,M101, N5194 UVa_WISE: WISE_1046 OSU_SDSSRMnirqso: srmJ141551, srmJ141511 Observing Notes: (All times are UTC unless otherwise noted) 02:00 opening dome and airing out chamber clear skys.
