LBT OSU/RC Observing Notes

Summary: Mostly overcast from late afternoon to ~6 UT, which prevented
us from opening at sunset (2:19 UT) and observing early targets.  We
were on sky by 6:30 UT, and observed 1 MODS target, one binocular
MODS/LBC target, and two standard stars.  Mostly clear skies and light
haze/cirrus for the rest of the night, with an occasional cloud
disrupting the guiding.  Seeing was ~1.3 arcseconds throughout the
night.

2:19--  Unable to open at sunset due to thick clouds.

3:49--  18 degree twilight.  Persistent clouds prevent us from opening.

5:00--  Clouds are thinning, but still threatening.  

5:55-- 	Patchy clouds, but less threatening.  Cautiously preparing to open.
6:21--  Dome is open, beginning collimation.

7:00--	Light cirrus, some clouds moving through
	Momentarily lost guiding on exposure 2 due to clouds

	sky is clear, slight haze

8:09--  ND_j1321; Because of the long slew, TO is checking pointing
	This is a binocular MODS--left, LBC--right program:
	Authorized LBC Red, connected to right side of telescope.
8:19--  Recollimating left side, running dofpia /first /RedOnly
8:25--	TO had to restart GCS.  
	Sky has cirrus, some patchy clouds.

8:32--  ND_j1321 acquisition (from MODS through leftside)
8:35--	dofpia /RedOnly for LBC focus
	(dofpia converged before acquisition script finished!)

8:46--  ND_j1321 observation (MODS)
	ND_J1321 LBCR observation
	seeing: ~1.20
	layer of cirrus, occasional fast moving clouds.
