LBT OSU/RC Observing Notes

Summary: Night started with some clouds but nothing too thick, and they
         seemed to dissipate. After a restarting the LUCI scheduler, LUCI
         worked great, and we did all the OSU_LuciMerger observations
         without issue. Then we switched to MODS to try and get a target
         in before setting up for the UVa transit. Co-Is on the transit
         program decided not to observe since the conditions were pretty
         choppy and only looked to get worse. Managed to observe
         ASASSN15th and 2/3 exposures of the ASASSN15nx host before wind
         forced us to close. Finished with the MODS and LUCI calibrations.

UT 01:00  Starting night with LUCI. Some clouds, might improve with time

UT 01:25  m31rvim.xml. Failed at aquisition stage. Basic troubleshooting 
          isn't fixing the issue. Calling Dave.

UT 01:40  Scheduler needed to be restarted. Imaging scripts are working.
          Seeing is rather poor (~1.3", variable)

UT 02:04  m31rvim.sky.xml. Conditions seem to be improving

UT 02:35  m31_HKspec.xml. Seeing was ~0.8", but now ~1.2"

UT 03:13  Finished acquisition, started spectroscopy. Object should be on
          row 1042. There were spurious confirmatory images scheduled in the
          queue that were skipped.

UT 04:35  HIP8212_telluric.xml. Finished with no issues. That's it for LUCI
          tonight, switching to MODS.

UT 05:05  Seeing and mirror temp issues are making collimation difficult.

UT 05:23  ASASSN15th.obs. Seeing is pretty poor (~1.3").

UT 05:30  Investigators for UVa_XO2b have decided conditions aren't good enough
          to do the observation tonight.

UT 06:00  Acquiring ASASSN15nx.acq. Hopefully we can get the host this time.
          Issue with one of David's subsystems caused the preset to time out.
          Tried aborting and restarting. Blue IMCS is unhappy.

UT 06:23  ASASSN15nx.obs. Adjusted offset to move both host and SN off bad pixels.
          Seeing 1.3", wind picking up (15+ m/s gusts). Mirror temp/vent issues.

UT 07:09  Have to close/abort due to wind. Clouds are rolling in too.
