Moon phase: 

Summary: Pretty productive night. Got a couple MODS longslit targets in,
         followed by a few OSU_monitor targets and skyflats. No major
         issues.

Minor technical issues: MODS2 VFlat lamp still having issues at start.
                        Olga had us run a few troubleshooting tests.
                        It does indeed seem to be a problem with the VFlat
                        lamp, since the comparison lamps are showing up fine.

                        During this process, we noticed that the heat sink
                        temperature is quite high, so that's also being
                        investigated while we wait for weather to pass.

Plan: Plan is to start with MODS, potentially switching to LBC later
      depending on conditions. However, there's pretty thick clouds
      at sunset, so we'll see.

01:30 - John Hill is going to run some tests with LUCI at sunset,
        so we're going to reconfigure for MODS after that. Shouldn't
        impact us at all, and the weather isn't in our favor anyway.

02:00 - I ran up both MODS and took a sieveSnap; the MODS2 VFlat lamp
        still seems to be having issues.

02:30 - Sunset

03:20 - The LUCI tests have been completed; we're reconfiguring for MODS.

03:50 - Starting gd153.obs.
        The sky cleared up really rapidly, very clear, guider FWHM ~0.6".

04:20 - Starting UVa_BCD_MODS/J1234.obs.
04:40 - All the strong emission lines cleanly detected.

05:45 - Starting OSU_ASASSN/AT2017gxq
        Conditions are still looking pretty good, seeing has slightly
        increased to ~1".

08:00 - Conditions remaining pretty steady, and look like they'll continue
        to do so. Guide star flux has been pretty steady, seeing has
        hovered around 1". Going to switch over to LBC.

08:30 - Running dohybrid, fingers crossed...
        Everything seems to be proceeding, conditions holding up,
        seeing ~1.1", temperatures in reasonable agreement.

09:15 - OSU_monitor/N5474
        We're at pretty low elevation, image quality is not looking great.

10:00 - OSU_monitor/N6946
        Pupil images looking much, much better for this field.
        Seeing ~1".
10:30 - We have time before 12 degree, so I'm just going to execute
        this OB again.

11:10 - Getting set up for skyflats.
