Summary: 

Hybrid-remote observing from Tucson, setup telescope for LBC.
Once again there was much smoke from the Bighorn fire near Tucson.
We were never were out of the smoke, it was highly variable and
we were never were able to open.  Did LBC and remaining MODS calibrations.
Once again, Columbus observing assistant Trim slept on the couch or
walked on the keyboard.  I question his committment to becoming an
observer.


Calibrations: 

LBC bias, camera debris checks (images with chamber lights)
MODS finished other three OSU_IDF_MODS mask calibrations, all done

03:00 - Still getting smoke from the Bighorn fire, plume is sharp-edged
        on the satellite before sunset.  Watching the new particle meter
        feed plus people on the ground

        Taking BinoBias25 and some images with chamber lights on for
        filter/lens debris checks while we wait for twilight and smoke
        to abate

10:30 - Never opened, smoke all night, visible in flashlight beams,
        present in the new particle monitor, and smelled by on-site staff.
