2013 Mar 20 - Version 1.0 - First non-beta Release and Major Bug Fix [rwp/osu]

   Fixed a serious bug in the offsetting logic, this time with DETXY
   in having the wrong sign of the transformation from DETXY for both
   X and Y.  Minor bugs in other parts of the program that only become
   apparent at high Dec or large offsets - these in the depiction of
   the outcome of large/high-Dec offsets; the guide star position
   tests were valid.

   With this, I'm releasing luciView as version 1.0 and bringing
   the beta testing period to an end. No guarantees of no more
   bugs, but it is now stable and functioning

2013 Mar 04 - Version 0.7 - Major Bug Fix [rwp/osu]

   Found a bug in the cumulative offset calculation that would
   result in a bad calculation of the final position for a blind
   offset.


2012 Dec 20 - Version 0.6 - Major Bug Fix [rwp/osu]

   Well, that didn't take long...  thanks to Dave and Olga for
   using it and finding two problems:

   * Orientation in X is incorrect for LUCI, must be N=up/E=right, not
     E=left.  Added the --noflip keyword to override this new default,
     and updated the web manual and all example image and text relevant
     to this.

   * On further review, it is apparent that the vignetting avoidance
     zone warning box should *not* be different for long-slit vs. 
     imaging or multi-slit, as it could fool a user into putting the
     guide probe too close to the slit in some configurations.


2012 Dec 18 - Version 0.5 - Second Beta Release [rwp/osu]

   Fixed numerous bugs and issues with the first beta release.  The
   most important:

   * Formatting bug in --find, guide star RA/Dec printed with colons (:) 
     instead of the space required by LUCI
   * On large blind offsets, the instrument/guider rotator sweep circle
     was not properly centered on the final position.
   * Bug in long-slit overlay not correctly computing positions after
     certain offsets fixed.

   New features:
   * --lms will now display tilted slits
   * added comment with R and B magnitudes to GUIDE_COORDS for guide stars 
     selected by --find


2012 Dec 03 - Version 0.3 - First Public Beta Release [rwp/osu]

   Basic functionality with LUCI, based on v1.1 of modsView.
   Handles offset checking for LUCI acq scripts, jitter, and
   produces LUCI-compliant guide star stubs.  Tested on acq
   scripts from 2012B observing runs.
