The LBT Project office held a progress review of MODS in Columbus on Thursday and Friday April 22 & 23. In attendance from LBTPO were Mark Wagner (LBT Instrument Scientist), Joar Brynnel (LBT System Engineer), and Joe Kraus (Software Engineer with LBT and LBTI). Tim Axelrod (LBT Lead Software Engineer) attended via videoconferencing link during the afternoon of April 22 for software progress discussions.
The purpose is to review progress to date on designing and building MODS. MODS is one of the cornerstone instruments for the LBT, so the goal of the review is to reassure the project office that we are making adequate progress on designing and building MODS and will ultimately deliver the instrument on a reasonable schedule. This page provides copies of all documents related to the MODS Progress Review. The review presentations were originally in Microsoft PowerPoint, available as PDF below.
